This year Mayor Barrie Tilghman delivered my fondest Christmas memory. How can anyone deny the pleasure of believing there's finally hope for the City of Salisbury. Should Voters come through by electing someone more fiscally responsible and actually run a more open form of government, there is no better gift for so many thousands of people. While the Mayor had claimed her decision wouldn't be brought forth until after the Holidays, she truly gifted the citizens with hope. It's a Very Merry Christmas and Mayor Tilghman gave the guy who has everything the best Christmas gift ever.

Why look he is infatuated with the mayor because she brings him his fondest memory. I guess his years as a child were harsh and his time now with his family doesn't match up to Barry. Or his memory is as short as his...... and that is all he remembers. Does anyone have true memories of Christmas they want to share?

Did everyone see the article in the Times about the many volunteers that the Salvation Army has this year? It mentioned many local businessmen and even the Mayor's husband who have volunteered their time, but NO mention of Joe. I found that hilarious.
Well, I don't think Joe rang the bell for attention......sorry, I couldn't even type that with a straight face!
Are you kidding me that your surprised that the daily times didnt print something complimentary about Joe. You my friend are clueless!
It is truly a pity that Joe's fondest memories are not of his own childhood, or those of playing Santa for his own children or even now with his grandson. He needs the three ghosts to pay him a visit. It would make a great Christmas Comedy.
