Give Me A Break!
Joe puts up a post from Jessie Lane who is a close friend of Riley Clark, one of the 2 SU students arrested for a vandalism streak. She asks them to give him a break. Big Joe jumps on her with both feet (whole lot of turd) saying he doesn't deserve a break. Didn't someone expect a call from the Maryland State Comptroller asking him to explain how he didn't comment perjury or tax evasion? He thought he deserved a break there. Who's guilty? The courts will decide for all cases. Who's crime could carry the most punishment for the least effort? Looks like they all deserve a Homer Award. The boys weren't thinking and Joe couldn't think.

The sad thing is that if you give a break to this kid or to the other one, how did they learn their lesson? The only lesson taught was oh poor baby its ok to break the law & get away with it...
Im srue the kids are good people, great friends, wonderful sons, ect... Why didnt they know better then to mess with other peoples property?

It is one thing to punish the kids. It is quite another to drag their names through the mud, along with their family and acquaintances in a guilt-by-association vigilante justice.
Lucky...its cause all that testosterone gets in the way of thinking. Eventually, as one matures it does get corralled, but in some cases ( we all know who) some continue to think with their deek and not their head.

Joe is the way he is cause there is a chemical imbalance in his brain that allows him to believe that he is never wrong & that the rules dont apply to him.
I agree that their familys names shouldnt be trashed because of their childrens actions, but these boys are supposed to be how old? Old enough to know better im sure. Yes their testosterone levels prevent them from thinking clearly but... How ever, how long can that be an excuse? or is that the excuse Joey is using... :)
